It's saturday :) I adore saturdays. Yet, I have this one weakness.. I can't seem to just stay at home, so I always go down to the mall (which is 3 minutes away from me, so it's hard to stay away...) to see if I can find something interesting. Luckily for me (or shall we say unfortunetaly, considering the fact that I am broke) BikBok have a new season in the stores. So, I ended up with the top on the picture. I like lace, it's cute and a bit rough at the same time. So there I was, in the register, ready to pay (with my creditcard) when the BikBok-lady said that it was 50 % off on a selected item. In other words, I ended up not using my creditcard (thank god), since it was half off. I love when that happens! Plus, I have something to wear tonight.

Recongnizing this gorgeous girl? It's Allie from the City - Adam's girlfriend. She's a model, and a really good one, if you want my opinion. She is so pretty, I just love the way she looks, she is one of those girls who just has this special look. Amazing..

Was supposed to post this yesterday, but then I went out with some friends. Had a great time! I love thursdays up here - it's the best day to be out on the town. Great drinks, people, ideas (that just shows up out of the blue, but they really are quite good), dancing... Tonight I really should relax.

Since so many other bloggers are writing about MK's white blazer, I figured I would write about this picture instead. Let's be honest, these are not exactly beautiful clothes (well, maybe except for the Stella McCartney shoes), but she still somehow manages to pull it off. She actually look amazing in these clothes, very chic grunge. I love it. Wish I had the same ability to dress up in this kind of clothes and look as gorgeous as she does.

I've worked up quite a jewlery collection over the years, and it's kinda funny, because I adore earrings for a while, and buy a lot of that, then there's bracelets and so on.. I think earrings is what I have most of - Factory Girl and Edie Sedgwick might have had something to do with that. On these pictures you can't even see everything, especially since a lot of the stuff is lying on top of eachother and so on. The only problem is that it's getting hard to have the time to use it all..

Here's the new tattoo.. It's a ohm-sign, which basically is an eastern religion sign, meaning "peace", "balance", and "the root of everything". It is not really connected to any spesific religion, but you can find it within buddhism, hinduism and so on. I have this symbol on an amulet, which I wear often, so I figured I would tattoo it on me. I like these type of signs that not everyone have, and that have a personal meaning to you as well. I have three more tattoos, but I must say that this one was a bit more painful than the others.

Right.. Outfit last night - went to my friend Jenny's birthday party. Was really nice to see some of the people I haven't seem for a while. Anyway, I bought the hat a few days ago, and figured this would be the perfect time to use it. I love this top, probably because of the studs.

I am now back in Trondheim, and will use this evening to read "Love Letters of Great Men". Remember the book from Sex and the City, that Carrie read for Big? That one. I recieved it while I was gone, so it layed on the bed - just waiting for me.

The best nights are those you know you will remember forever, with good friends and good music.. Just like last night. AC/DC was in town, and (lucky me!!) was at the concert. It was amazing; they played all the classics. The t-shirt above is from the show - I figured I could use something white in my closet.

Tonight I got a belated birthdaypresent from my father - a camera! I am finally connected with the world again. So, tomorrow I will take a picture of my new tattoo, so that I can show it to you guys.

This girl has got a new pair of shoes. How beautiful aren't they?! I walked pass the store, and just stopped the second I saw them. Now, here's the thing; I'm tall. We're talking too tall. But these shoes are so.. so.. perfect. Therefore, I decided that I could live with the fact that I would be taller than the rest of the world (okay, a small over-statement), and just bought them. And don't they look like Dior? Yup, when you're a student, you have to take what you can get. But because of this purchase, I won't afford food, but what the heck..

I am back home with my parents for the week, because tomorrow it's ACDC in Oslo! Can't wait.. Hard Rock Cafè will be visited (as always), and it will be a great night.

Oh, and I got a new tattoo today! Love it.. Will get someone to take a picture, so that I can show it to you later.

Nina and I are watching Kurt & Courtney now.. Anyone who has seen it? I like it. I'm not sure about the whole conspiracy theory, and I'm not sure if I care too much really.. If he was murdered, the world was litterary robbed for a great musician, but if he killed himself, the suicide-note he left was a pretty good explanation. I suppose everyone will have to make up their own opinion.

So, I was challenged by MrEro to find the 6th picture in the 6th picture-file on my computer, and here it is. It is from this fall when Julie, Else Marie and I went out for some beers. It's a while ago now, so I don't remember much, but I do remember this; that beer did not taste good. Ick..

Mantra...

This has been my mantra lately.. I've never been the type to overthink too much, I just get tired of it, so instead I just clear my mind and let all thoughts go, and move on. It usually work..

Tonight I am going to a Hawaii-party at my friends house. Quite ironic, considering the snow and the cold weather, but it will probably be fun :) I can put flowers in my hair, which makes me happy every time.

Just give me a couple of years (or ten), and this will be me. Not sure about the kids though, but then again, I can adopt. Or something like that.. Anyway, I've decided something; I think I'll be going to India. I was thinking that when I was done with my bachelor in political science, I would go to India for a few months. I'd learn about buddhism, travel around and just be for a little while.

But until then - tonight I'll be going out with Julie, and just have fun. Tomorrow might be a fun day, with lectures and stuff.. But who cares?! I'm only young once, right..

I can still recall our last summer, I still see it all..

These pictures are from this summer, in which I got a huge crush on harempants. They are really cool, and so comfortable. This is another reason for why I want summer; these pants are a bit too cold to use during the winter, but they are perfect for spring, summer and fall. So, dear weathergod, I would be very happy if you could arrange for summer to come a bit earlier this year, or at least spring, beacuse this pants, my dresses, shoes and especially my leather jackets are dying to be used again.

Today I bought a very cool hat, red lipstick and a flower to put in my hair (I'm going to a Hawaii-party this weekend). Still no camera, but I will try to find a way to show it to you guys later.

The weekend has come to an end, and I had the best time. The party yesterday was great, and there were people everywhere, and music, and drinks, old loves, new loves.. Good times!

I had sort of a bad day today, therefore I went downtown, and figured I would see if H&M had some new items (which they had, of course :D), and I ended up bying a pair of leather pants. And may I add that I believe that it is the perfect pair of leather pants! Since I still don't have any camera, I threw in a picture of Alexander McQueens - oh, so cool - leather pants. I will try to get someone to take my picture tomorrow night, so I can post a picture of them.

And I cannot believe this, but it was this one song that completely slipped my mind the last time, so I have to mention it here now:

I love music.. and I am a fan of lists, therefore I will now combine them (revolutionary idea, I know). For me to fall in love in a piece of music, the lyrics has to be great. So, I figured I would write my top 5 list on the most poetic songs I know about. I could probably go on forever, so I figured it would be best to narrow it down to 5. Also, they are in random order. I don't know how to have favourite songs, cause I feel like I would leave something out.. Anyway, feel free to leave a comment about your favorite songs :)

1. Sound of silence - Simon and Garfunkel
Now, Simon and Garfunkel are pure poetry, but this song seriously shakes me to the core. It always does.. I get this melancoly feeling by listening to it. I mean, "hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again", "the words of the prophets are written on the subway wall", the sentences are amazing. If you haven't heard it yet, I suggest you go and by an album!

2. Time of your life - Green Day
I know there are a lot of opinions about Green Day, but this is an amazing song! Adore the fact that it's only Billie Joe, a guitar and a fiddle. This song will be played in my funeral, because I can't think of a better explanation on how I lived mye life.

3. Nightswimming - R.E.M
Ah, the beauty. I can barely explain this song, you simply have to hear it. The vocals are great (as always), and the lyrics are breathtaking.

4. Norwegian Wood - the Beatles
I don't know how poetic this song is, but it's one of my absolute favorites. It just shows how genious John Lennom was..

5. Angels Calling - Silver
This has been one of my favorite bands for years. I discovered them right about the same time as I discovered how important music is to me.. This is one of the first songs I heard from them, and I still love it just as much.

Honestly, I can't pick just a few songs, so I just wrote the first 5 I could think of. Maybe I'll write a similar list later on ;)

London calling..

This summer I am going to London - all by my self! For the first time.. I am actually really looking forward to it, I haven't gone anywhere completely on my own before, but it will be fun (I hope). I've been to London several times, so I know the city quite well (not sayin' that I can't get lost; there's always a possibility. After all, I got lost in Oslo..) Anyhow, this time I will try to find more vintageshops, instead of going up and down Oxford Street. Beyond Retro is a obviuous stop, of course. London AND summer; two great things to look forward to.

I adore this shoot with Kate Moss for French Vogue. This will be my summer inspiration, for sure. I need to find a leather-vest.. And one with studs.. And some cool shorts. Actually, this has no purpose, because the list is endless. There are always stuff that I need (yes, NEED), and I am broke. I'm used to it, though. I have a tendency to buy things, and then suddenly realize that I have no money for food. Oh well, at least I am happy (I suppose). Damn, the student-life is hard. Maybe I should get a job?
