Got this book from my parents for Christmas :D I have already looked through the book while I was drinking a glass of wine, and later I will go through it again, read and put post-its on the pages I like. I tend to do that with magazines and this type of books, so it's easier to look back on it later.

I got some other things too, like cd's, more books, jewlery, money and so on :) I had a great day! I'm glad Christmas is not over yet, though. I'm getting that Christmas spirit, even though everything has been so hectic before the holidays, so I haven't really had the time to think that it is Christmas. Anyway, the next big event now is New Years Eve, which I hope will be really fun this year!

A few posts ago, I said that Janis Joplin should be remembered as a fashion icon, and of course a singer. Here's a photoshoot inspired by Janis, and I love it! I want all the clothes.. Maybe I should quit school, job, and just go to L.A and live a hippie life? Yes.. That's a good idea.

Don't ask her why she needs to be so free, she'll tell you it's the only way to be...

So here's the top I bought yesterday. I like the back of it, and figured that it would be perfect with my 70's jeans. Now I have to run of to work..

Oh yeah, new stuff! And my feet hurts like hell, because (surprisingly) working in H&M before Christmas is insane. And since I haven't worked out in aged because of my exams, my feet aren't very cooperative. So I'm hoping that it will change tomorrow. These aren't very good pictures, but I'll take som new when I'm wearing the items.

Now I'm watching Sex and the City at Oprah - so funny! I love those girls..

And by the way, I got this really cool oil painting as an early Christmas present from my friend, Jenny. I'll take a picture and show it tomorrow or something.

Hello; this is me, looking like I'm on heroin or something.. Haha. The point was that I've dyed my hair. I needed it a bit darker. If you can't see the difference, just scroll down and see how it used to look like. I think I'm liking this style better ;)

I desperatly wanted to use my leather jacket today, so I just took my faux fur vest over. I kinda liked the look!

Going to work at H&M tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it, actually. And since I'm getting discount, I even might buy some clothes ;)

Today, my roomies and I went Christmas shopping. Great day :) Bought some presents which I, naturally, can't show here. But here's some things I bought for me, plus today's outfit:

Today's outfit. Customized jeans; ripped them last night. I wore this with my faux fur coat (see previous posts).

Wore lace tights under the jeans..

And a book about my future husband ;)

And here; the dress I'll be wearing on New Years Eve. I've been looking for a dress with this length forever, and now I finally found one that I like. From Gina Tricot :)

And this is my adorable roomie. I just love this vest what she's wearing.

Tomorrow I'm going home to mom and dad for Christmas. I'll be taking the bus, which is 8 hours. I need to get some new songs on my mp3-player.

Finished :D I am done with all my exams! For now, anyway.. So I decided to celebrate by checking out the BikBok sale. Tons of nice things, but I'm sort of on a budget here, plus I need to buy Christmas presents, so I only ended up with these two sweaters. I still have a thing for the oversized trend..

I let him slip away, he's looking for that home, and I hope he finds it, but I'd trade all of my tomorrows, for one single yesterday...

I really don't understand why Janis haven't got the "trend-icon" brand, becuase she really was! Maybe it was because everyone else also dressed in the same way.. I don't know, but I do love her style, and she is really one of a kind. Amazing singer, with an amazing soul. Would it be bad to have her as a rolemodel?!

I am finally getting that Christmas spirit! I think perhaps it is because I'm going home in a week, the exams are getting very close (I have one tomorrow, then one the day after).. Last night I listened to all my favourite Christmas songs, and suddenly; hello, Christmas spirit! On sunday I'm going shopping for Christmas presents.. I love this holiday!

I love concerts! So I thought I would show you guys some of the concerts I've been to that sort of left a mark on me.. The best 5 shows I've been to (random set up):


Marilyn Manson in Oslo last December. My god, that was a great show. I've listened to MM for a while, but didn't really expect much from the concert, but it was really good! He's a pretty cool guy with an amazing stage show..

Iron Maiden, this summer at Valle Hovin. Wow! I've been to one Maiden concert before, but this one was just amazing. Insane! They played every single hit they've ever had. Plus I was there with some of my best friends, which made it even better.

I've had a thing for Green Day for years. I don't listen that much to them anymore, but I still love them. I saw them on the Quart-festival during the summer of 2005 or something.. That was a great show. Billie Joe is amazing on stage.

Silver (a Norwegian band) this September. This was a very intimate concert, which was great. They have amazing music, and I love being at concerts where I know all the songs that sing so loud that I don't have any voice the next day! That's so funny!

Bruce Springsteen this summer! He seriously made the rain stop! That was so amazing. He played all the songs I wanted to hear, and his latest album "Magic" is one of my favourites, and the best summer-cd I can think of! He is so great.. I am almost in love with him. I actually think this is the best concert I've ever been to. I was there with my Mom and Dad, and that was actually quite nice..

And there you have it. I am going to several other concerts next year, and I am really looking forward to it :) I suddenly remembered other shows I've been too also, like NIN, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, The Cure, Muse and so on.. They have all been great, though :)

So never mind the darkness, we still can find a way, cause nothing last forever, even cold November rain..

So.. I was planning to write a list (for like a week ago) about my November favourites. Now, this may come as a shock to most of you, but I forget things.. Or postpone them. I suppose this was a combination of the both. Anyway, while I am hearing my neighbours upstairs partying (which, by the way, I want too.. Freaking exams...), I will now write you a list of my November favourites.

- The snow. I actually like it.. Until January at least.
- The fact that it is soon Christmas.
- My reniewed affection for faux fur.
- My music.. I actually have different things I listen to during different seasons. Not on purpose, though. But from October, and especially in November, Nirvana is a favourite.
- The dark. I don't mind that it becomes dark so early. I think it's kind of nice..
- The relaxing part.. It still a while before you HAVE TO buy the christmas present, and the exams isn't quite yet. So there is still time to do all those things that you usually love to do.

I am tired.. And can't think of much more. Wow, I thought that the list would be better than this. Well, well.. For the record; the lyric in the title is from one of my favourite songs. Guess who?!

Good, good, GREAT news. I've got my ebay-coat. I just love it.. It is warm and so pretty. I made my roomie take pictures while I had it on, so that you guys could see it. Unfortunately, I am no model, so the pictures didn't really do the jacket much justice. Still, it is so fabolous that I am sure that you can see it, despite the wierdness in the pictures (however, I think I am excusted, beacuse I've been travelling all day; on a play, by car, on a bus).. Krystal had also written a card for me. She's a sweetheart. Right now, I am considering a trip to the mall, so that I can take my coat for a walk ;)

Come as you are...

I met Celine today (from the blog http://hippiehippiemilkshake.blogspot.com) in Oslo for a coffee. And I got to see her where she works (TOPP magazine), and met some of her co-workers. It was really fun :) Celine is really sweet, with a great sence of style. When I met her, she had just been at a sample-sale and bought some stuff. I was supposed to go there too, but my sence of direction is.. well.. not good. Still, I ended up with some magazines that I got from Celine, so at least I have something fun to read, when I get too tired of reading for my exams. Hope you all had a great day too :)

This gorgeous man is designing for H&M!!!! I just found out, and I am so happy. For Matthew Williamson, I will actually stand in line so that I can get a piece of his clothing.. He is known for his great designs and, of course, his friendship with Sienna Miller. This is gonna be good :)

And the posing continues.. Lovely :P Anyway, this was the dress that I bought at Velouria Vintage in Oslo. I love it, I have this thing for the hippie-time, and love everything that reminds me of that time. So I just had to buy this.. I think I might wear it with my fur vest one day :)
